First of all, I struggle with jeans. It’s hard for me to find jeans that I’m comfortable in, or that fit me well. I’m short, but curvy. When these jeans arrived, I realized that I hadn’t noticed they have a button fly. I’m not really one for “skinny” jeans, but I also feel there are certain scenarios where skinny jeans work better than, say, boot cut (I am far from a fashionista, my regular wardrobe is comfy). These jeans are actually quite comfortable! They appear to be well made. The color is nice, dark with faded patches on the thighs. For reference, I typically go for a size 18 jean, and XL (for more fitted) or XXL (more baggy) everything else. These fit me perfectly. Snug enough around the waste and hips to not slip down, loose enough to not induce extra muffin top. The length hits me right at the ankle, maybe *just* resting on the top of my foot (I’m 5’4”). I almost docked a star is the legs do not taper/squeeze like a typical skinny jean. It’s more like a cross between a skinny and relaxed fit. That said, I actually prefer these as they are. I debated whether or not to dock a star, but looking back at the title and listing, while it does say “skinny”, the pictures also show they are not like the super skinny/tight jeans I typically imagine when I think of skinny jeans. So I’m leaving it at 5 stars. My main concern now is washing. The listing says to hand wash, but I don’t have time or space for that. I’ll be throwing them in the laundry with my regular clothes. Honestly, they seem well enough made I don’t think they will suffer from the machine. I do worry about color bleed, so will wash them on cold with jeans and towels. If they survive, that will further justify my 5 star rating. If they fall apart, I’ll update this review, but still won’t dock a star because they are supposed to be hand washed, I’m the one breaking the rules. The fabric is soft, thick enough to be sturdy, but thin enough to be light. There is good stretch, they *almost* feel like jeggings but also look and feel like regular jeans. Edit: I washed the jeans in my normal wash, and they turned out beautifully. No noticeable changes in quality, fit, color, etc. These might be my new favorite jeans!

Finally, at age 68, I know I’ll never have to look for black jeans again! These are wonderful. I was so afraid they wouldn’t fit. They fit perfect in all the right places. Perfect stretch too. The pic shows them cuffed but can do either way. They’re lightweight and don’t look cheap. Very very flattering. The cut across doesn’t hit your knee so it doesn’t split MORE when you sit down. I’ve had that happen with ALL DISTRESSED JEANS. Not sure about the washing, as with any Amazon clothing, but I’ll be REALLY careful. I want them to outlive me. I don’t know what I’ll do with my time now that I don’t have to look for black jeans I love.

Not only did I like the design, but the material is very comfortable. Unfortunately, because I don’t have a narrow waist line I had to return it. Overall, the quality is really nice. The look is amazing and the fit was very comfortable.

These are definitely not the jeans I'm the photo. And they definitely do not fit like the ones in the photo. Baggy around the top just below the belt line. I'm hoping they will fit better after I put them through the wash. Cautiously optimistic.

I love these jeans for the summer. The material is light for a jean. The jeans are super stretchy. I got my jeans in size 16w and I am 5'8" and weigh 219. I hope this is a help for someone.
