I have always wanted a solitaire teardrop necklace, so when I saw this KISSCLOUD design I thought it was very pretty and decided to try it.* Style & Appearance: The star of this necklace is definitely the teardrop-shaped cubic zirconia pendant. It catches the light beautifully, with just the right sparkle to mimic a diamond without looking overly fiery the way moissanite sometimes can. The overall look is elegant and understated.* Color & Finish: The pendant is set in gold tone metal, described as 14K gold plated brass. The gold color is soft and pairs nicely with the clear stone. However, I did not see any marking on the necklace or the included gift box indicating that it was actually gold plated, which was disappointing.* Chain Quality: The chain is dainty and adjustable from 16.5 inches with a 2-inch extension, making it a good length for most necklines. The links are quite small and feel a little insubstantial compared to the quality of the pendant. It is also the type of chain that could knot easily if not stored carefully. A nice touch is the small rhinestone detail at the end of the extension.* Size & Scale: The pendant is small enough to wear daily but still noticeable. It layers easily with other necklaces, but it also works well on its own as a subtle accent.* Weight & Comfort: The necklace is lightweight and comfortable to wear, making it easy for extended use without irritation.* Craftsmanship: The cubic zirconia is securely set, and the teardrop mounting looks well-made and sturdy. The chain itself feels more fragile and is not as well matched in quality to the pendant.* Functionality & Versatility: This necklace leans more toward dressy occasions, but it is versatile enough to wear casually. It would be suitable for younger girls, mothers, and grandmothers alike. It works with dresses, blouses, and even simple tops to add a bit of sparkle.* Gift Box: The necklace comes in a small slide-out gift box. It is suitable for giving as a present, although I think the outer sleeve looks a little cheap. A more elevated logo presentation would help justify the cost.* Anticipated Durability: The pendant should hold up well with occasional wear, but the chain may be more prone to tangling or breakage over time. As with all gold-plated jewelry, it is best to avoid water, perfumes, or lotions to keep it looking new.* Value for the Cost: At the current cost of 12.99 at the time I’m writing this, this necklace feels like a good value. It offers a lot of elegance for an affordable amount, though a sturdier chain would make it feel more balanced as well as some written confirmation of the gold plating.* Bottom Line: This is a pretty and versatile teardrop necklace with a sparkling pendant that looks more expensive than it is. The pendant quality outshines the chain, but overall it is a pretty necklace that would make a thoughtful and affordable gift for a family member or friend.

Eye-catching!
This necklace is stunning—super blingy and absolutely beautiful. The CZ teardrop charm is bigger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise and really makes the necklace stand out. I did switch it to my own chain because the one included was a bit short and felt cheap to me. I personally prefer smooth chains over chain-link styles, so that made a big difference for me. Overall, the teardrop charm is gorgeous and eye-catching, and I’ve received lots of compliments when wearing it!
